Hi all,
After meeting with Rachael, the date is set for 1st December.
Details as follow:

The Knitted Walking Stick Cosy display is now up in Rachael Matthew's shop window at Prick Your Finger.
http://www.prickyourfinger.com/
We are planning to have some kind of open-day, knitting thing going on on 1st December; it's next Saturday. Exact times/plans to be announced, but if you have any Xmas-themed CDs please do bring them along so we can play them through the knitted speakers. Plans are to include:
*knitted-speaker music/records/CDs
*knitting some walking-stick cosies (optional) or other knitting
*eating some cake
*drinking some tea
informal atmosphere in beautiful shop, surrounded by amazing knittingness.
I am not sure yet whether I will be driving, in fact, as driving there yesterday took me over 5 hours and it was a very stressful 5 hours, compared to spending 3 or 4 on the train with the compensation of being able to knit and drink lattes, but I can drive if enough people wish to make a road trip of it with me!
I'll forward on details as they become available, but please keep Saturday 1st free and I hope you can make it!!

I think I will arrange it for Tuesday 11th.
I'm not sure what will be happening with Mark's family over the next few weekends, so want to keep them free and I know I'm away on the 14th...
How does Tuesday 18th work for people? It can be an evening tea; like 4pm - 8pm or similar times and I will be driving in any case so car give anyone lifts home...
let me know,
thanks,
Felix

Sounds great - I'd be up for it in theory. Days when I definitely have a prior engagement are the 13th December and the 19th December onwards - otherwise, bring it on!
